My Philosophy
I believe in a bio-individual approach to nutrition—there is no “one size fits all” solution. Every person has unique needs, and each plan is carefully tailored to support your personal health journey.
Rather than simply addressing symptoms, I focus on the body as a whole, viewing it as a network of interconnected systems. By identifying and correcting nutritional imbalances, we can restore health through targeted diet and lifestyle changes.
My goal is to help you heal at the root cause of your health concerns, guiding you toward lasting wellness. Together, we will restore balance by supporting digestion, blood sugar regulation, sleep, and stress management—all through the power of a nutrient-dense, whole-foods approach.
Starting with the Foundations
Nutrition
A whole food, nutrient-dense diet is essential for optimal health because it provides the body with essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in their most natural and bioavailable forms. By focusing on unprocessed, whole foods, this approach supports digestion, reduces inflammation, balances blood sugar, and promotes long-term well-being, helping to prevent chronic diseases and improve overall vitality.
Exercise
Regular exercise is vital for overall health, improving cardiovascular function, strengthening muscles and bones, and supporting mental well-being. It also helps regulate weight, reduce inflammation, boost immunity, and lower the risk of chronic diseases.
Lifestyle
Lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress management, social connections, and daily movement play a crucial role in overall well-being. They influence mental and physical health, hormone balance, immune function, and energy levels, helping to prevent chronic diseases and promote longevity.

FAQ
What is functional nutrition?
Functional nutrition is a personalized, root-cause approach to health that focuses on how food influences overall well-being, beyond just calories and nutrients. It considers individual factors like gut health, inflammation, lifestyle, and genetics to create a tailored nutrition plan that supports optimal function and prevents disease.
How is it different?
Functional nutrition looks past the symptoms and uses a root cause approach. It meets you where you are at on your health journey, assesses what is going on and uses the the body as a whole system rather than analyzing symptoms and one part of the body at a time.
What conditions or goals can you help with?
I work with clients on a variety of concerns. Including Metabolic dysfunction and blood sugar imbalances, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, weight management, low energy and fatigue, immune support, skin issues, general wellness and prevention.
How long does it take to see results?
Using a bio individual approach, everyone will see results at different times in their health journey. Some may begin to notice changes within the first few weeks. Deeper healing often takes several months, especially when addressing long-standing imbalances.
What are the sessions like?
We meet virtually, 1 on 1. Depending on the appointment type, we will have an initial interview, which lasts around 90 minutes, covering your intake paperwork, asking any further follow up questions I may have, and allowing you to ask any questions you may have. Then we will conduct a 30 minute recommendations visit where we talk together about some recommendations I came up with and see how they will fit with your lifestyle and change as needed. Then in about a month we will conduct a follow-up visit with new paperwork and see how things are progressing for you and if anything needs to be changed or added. In between sessions we will have unlimited text/email communication. And I will periodically check-in on you to see how things are and if there are any questions or adjustments needed with recommendations.
